AT&T U-Verse Gets Worse on ISP Netflix Streaming Rankings

Despite the fact that Netflix signed a controversial interconnection deal with Verizon last April, Verizon customer performance continues to flounder. Among larger ISPs Verizon FiOS remains static at twelfth place, and Verizon DSL continues to be among the worst performing service anywhere in last place. AT&T struck a similar deal with Netflix last month, though it’s too early to see results. Meanwhile, AT&T U-Verse performance dropped a spot to fourteenth, the company’s “next generation” broadband service being outperformed in the rankings by even heavily-throttled Clearwire wireless service, a traditional basement-dweller. – Karl Bode,Dslrreports
