Bell Media streaming service to include Monty Python

Bell Media has announced that Monty Python’s beloved sketch comedy series will be an exclusive part of its new streaming service, Project Latte. Every episode of Monty Python’s Flying Circus (1969-74) is to be part of the service when it launches “soon,” according to a news release, as well as all associated documentaries, specials, live performances and sketch highlights, plus “fan-favourite content” to be revealed at a later date. […] Also included in the exclusive deal with Eagle Rock Entertainment: Monty Python’s Fliegender Zirkus (1972), two one-hour specials for German TV; Monty Python: Live at the Hollywood Bowl (1982); Monty Python Live at Aspen (1998), a one-hour reunion special; Parrot Sketch Not Included: 20 Years of Monty Python (1989), a 20th-anniversary special hosted by Steve Martin; Before the Flying Circus (2000), a one-hour documentary about the Pythons’ formative years; Monty Python’s Personal Best (2006), six, one-hour specials each dedicated to a Python; Monty Python Conquers America (2008); Monty Python: Almost the Truth (Lawyers Cut) (2009), a six-part, documentary series; and The Meaning of Monty Python: The Meaning of Life in 2013, a one-hour special celebrating the 30th anniversary of the movie. – Debra Yeo,The Toronto Star
