Acorn TV costs subscribers $4.99 a month or $49.99 for a year (and comes with free shipping when you purchase DVDs or gifts from their tradition catalogue service), and I think that’s worth it if you are someone who is a true connoisseur of British television. In fact, if the primary reason you have Netflix is to watch classic British mysteries, then it might even be a worthy substitute. However, if you’re only a casual fan of BBC programming, it might not be worth the extra fifty to sixty bucks a year.
