Optus may charge Netflix and streaming services for video quality

[CEO Allen Lew] said Optus would continue to support net neutrality — the principle that all Internet traffic should be treated equally — in an apparent contradiction, he suggested the telco was considering asking what he called “OTT (over the top)” providers, such as Netflix, to cough up for higher streaming quality.
