Government Officials to Decide Future of Music Streaming

The [Copyright Royalty Board] will issue a decision expected before the end of the year on the rate for each song played by music streaming companies. Each song fee will amount to a small percentage a cent per song. On it’s face it doesn’t sound like much money, yet when you are playing billions of songs, simple math tells us it adds up to a very large figure.
