3. If You’re Still Paying $8 a Month, Brace Yourself: It’s Going Up to $10

Although new Netflix subscribers pay $10 a month for the most common plan, many longtime subscribers are still paying $8 a month. If you are grandfathered into the old pricing, you’ll start seeing an increase this summer. If the thought of that extra $2 stresses you out, you can downgrade from HD to SD service to stay at $8.
