Apple will not launch a streaming service. Just as Apple has never launched a service that mimicked Netflix or Hulu we believe that Apple would not have included Sling TV on its Apple TV box if it ever intends to release its own live streaming TV service. Letting a competitor on the device would invite the competition to set up shop in its backyard and mute the impact of its own service.
