Verizon’s 5G home internet launch will come with free YouTube TV or Apple TV 4K

The announcement today confirms a previous rumor late last month; customers who sign up to Verizon’s 5G home internet service can choose to receive a free subscription to YouTube TV or an Apple TV 4K device (but not both.) In addition, they’ll also be able to access content from NFL, NBA, and news from Verizon’s own media network, Oath, reports Bloomberg. If you’re wondering whether you’ll find leftover content from the defunct Go90 app, don’t get your hopes up. When the app shut down in July, Verizon returned content distribution rights to partners including Vice Media, Complex Networks, and AwesomenessTV. – Natt Garun, The Verge
