New Streaming Services From DC, Disney Will Test New Streaming Viability In A Saturated Landscape

DC Comics recently released its own streaming service to the general public, DC Universe, costing $7.99 per month. It features original live action and animated series as well as classic films and series, and will also contain a DC-centric encyclopedia and a selection of digital comics. The service’s first live-action original series ‘Titans’ is set to debut October 12, with each of its 12 episodes released weekly. The service also promises forthcoming original series, including ‘Doom Patrol’, ‘Swamp Thing’, and ‘Harley Quinn’, among others. – Jeff Ewing, Forbes
