Streaming Services May Soon Crack Down on Password Sharing

According to estimates from Parks Associates, the US pay-TV industry is expected to lose $6.6 billion in 2019 to piracy and password sharing. While the existing industry and those soon to enter the fray can potentially weather this storm, it’s only getting worse from here. Netflix Adapting Lemony Snicket’s ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ As Series

Netflix is entering a new area: live-action family entertainment. On the heels of picking up Awesomeness TV’s live-action comedy Richie Rich, the streaming company has acquired rights to the best-selling series of books A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket, with plans to adapt them as a live-action series.
