Families Are Watching More Music Videos Together During Lockdown, Vevo Study Shows

U.S. CTV viewing — which essentially shows that people are watching at home in their living rooms, not just on handheld devices — was up 21% between the beginning of March and the beginning of April, according to a Vevo rolling average, showing increases well above general CTV growth. Netflix will help inactive members cancel accounts

The company said it will begin asking members who have not watched anything on Netflix for multiple years to confirm that they still want their accounts. Members will start seeing emails or in-app notifications this week and if they don’t confirm that they want to keep subscribing, Netflix will automatically cancel their subscriptions.
