‘Beerfest’ Digital Series In Works Based On Movie

A decade after Broken Lizard’s beer-soaked Warner Bros. feature comedy Beerfest came out, the title is being revisited as a digital series. The project is being developed by CW Seed, in conjunction with Blue Ribbon Content, Warner Bros’ shortform digital series production unit. Comics fans who missed out on DC Films Presents The Dawn of The Justice League are in luck. The CW may not have an official app on any major streaming platform at the moment but that does not mean that CW fans are left out in the cold when it comes to CW programming. Fans can easily stream the special presentation directly from the network’s home page. The CW Eyes its Own Standalone Streaming Service

According to Bloomberg, CBS and Warner Bros. (CW, get it?) have begun preliminary discussions on a subscription streaming service, similar to CBS’ own launch of CBS All-Access. CW Seed which is an outgrowth of the more well known CW channel is an online option where viewers can see a number of series that have left the air including a number of cult favorites like the previously mentioned Flash and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The shows are available to stream via the CW Seed Website as well as via apps for IOS and Android.
