China removes gay high school drama from streaming sites

Xiaomi to invest $1B in Internet TV content

Xiaomi plans to invest $1 billion in Internet TV content, the company said Tuesday in a blog post on Chinese social media site weibo.com. Reuters earlier reported on Xiaomi’s plans. Chen Tong, a former executive at China-based Internet company Sina, and Chuan Wang, Xiaomi’s director for Internet TV related products, will lead the content push, according to the blog post. – Don Reisinger,CNET
